Job summary

Insperity is seeking a skilled application developer to work across departments to fulfill development, support, and maintenance requests. You will contribute to requirements, design, coding, and testing within a structured framework, leveraging the .NET stack and modern web technologies.

You will collaborate with teams to ensure standards, quality, and timely delivery, while mentoring colleagues on technical challenges and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or four years of related work experience required.
• Three to five years of professional experience required.
• Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of application development.
• Knowledge of design patterns, OO design and SOA.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework, Visual Studio, ASP.NET MVC, WCF and Web API.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL and relational concepts.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, and modern frameworks.
• Familiarity with responsive web design (RWD).
• Customer service attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Works with constituent departments to fulfill application development, support, and maintenance requests.
• Assists in scope definition and estimation of work effort.
• Contributes to the business requirements gathering process.
• Works with the solution design team to ensure that design standards are followed.
• Adheres to defined processes.
• Develops application code to fulfill project requests.
• Creates technical documentation as required.
• Develops unit testing applications for release into production environment.
• Collaborates with the business unit and business analysis personnel on the business requirements gathering process.
• Mentors' development team members in technical complexities of assigned work.
