JPMorganChase seeks a skilled software engineer to build production-grade microservices, manage dependencies, and enable distributed tracing. You will lead domain-driven design to transform monoliths into event-driven services, architect RESTful APIs, and implement CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and quality gates.
You will also design scalable database schemas and orchestrate Kubernetes deployments with observability in mind.
Develop production-grade microservices, manage dependencies, and enable distributed tracing. Lead DDD to transform monoliths into event-driven microservices. Build RESTful APIs, implement circuit breakers, and produce OpenAPI documentation. Design and optimize normalized schemas, execution plan analysis, table partitioning, indexing; author SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures for Terabyte-scale, high-concurrency enterprise databases. Architect event-driven systems. Develop and maintain UIs, build reusable, responsive components, and integrate frontends with backend microservices APIs. Plan and execute migrations from monolith to microservices, create stored procedures and RESTful APIs for migration, and write scripts to bulk-migrate records with data validation and error handling. Build CI/CD and add automated testing, SonarQube quality gates, security scanning, and blue-green deployments. Orchestrate Kubernetes with HPA, resource quotas, Helm charts, and infrastructure-as-code to lower deployment costs and MTTR. Implement observability, add distributed tracing, and configure custom dashboards and alerts for proactive incident management. Produce technical design artifacts, system architecture, sequence, activity, and data flow diagrams. Design database schemas and entity relationships for enterprise applications.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related occupation.
