Job summary

Google is seeking software engineers to join the Geo team in Seattle or Mountain View. You will write product or system development code, participate in design reviews, and help improve code quality across large-scale maps and related services.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with Swift and TypeScript.
• 2 years of experience with iOS mobile app development.

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (style, testing, efficiency).
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/resolve by analyzing sources and impact on operations.

Job description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience developing across multiple mobile platforms, with specific exposure to Android development.
