Kentro is hiring for a cleared Software Engineer to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Responsibilities:
  • Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
  • Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
  • May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
  • May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Location:

On-site in St. Louis or Arnold, MO.

Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of experience with the following:
    • Software Development - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
    • Software Design & Architecture - Experience in researching, designing, and developing software applications and utilities. Experience in updating and improving existing software applications.
    • Database Management - Knowledge of database development, integration, and maintenance.
    • Networking & Systems - Understanding of network software and system performance requirements.
  • Active TS/SCI with willingness to take CI Poly
