CVS Health is seeking a Senior Engineer to deliver high-quality web applications, dashboards, and backend integrations in a fast-paced, Agile environment. You will build modern UIs, connect backend systems with complex data objects, and embed AI capabilities into our application ecosystem.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of full stack experience, 3+ years with React/Angular/Vue and data visualization libraries, plus hands-on DevOps and cloud platform expertise.

• 5+ years of full stack software development experience.
• 3+ years with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts).
• 3+ years backend development (Node.js, Python, Java, C#) and API design (REST, GraphQL).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, ORMs, and complex data objects.
• DevOps experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), Docker, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience or strong knowledge of integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LLMs) into software features.
• Troubleshooting full stack apps, databases, and integrations.
• YAML configurations and automation scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
• Experience with security, connectivity, and data protection in cloud/hybrid environments.

Position Summary

The Senior Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality web applications, interactive dashboards, and backend integration services through collaboration with our engineering, data, product and DevOps teams in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will be instrumental in building modern user interfaces, integrating backend systems with complex data objects, and embedding AI capabilities into our application ecosystem.

• 5+ years of professional full stack software development experience.
• ~3+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts) to build interactive dashboards.
• ~3+ years of experience with backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, C#) and API design (REST, GraphQL).
• ~ Strong hands-on experience integrating applications with relational and NoSQL databases, ORMs, and complex data objects.
• ~ Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• ~ Practical experience or strong working knowledge of integrating AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, LLMs) into software features.
• ~ Hands-on experience troubleshooting full stack application, database, and integration issues.
• ~ Hands-on experience with YAML configurations, and automation scripting (Python, Shell, or PowerShell).
• ~ Hands-on experience with troubleshooting file transfer, connectivity, security, and automation issues across cloud and hybrid environments.
• ~ Experience with real-time data streaming technologies (e.g., Exposure to AI tools or AI-enabled platform workflows.
• Familiarity with healthcare data, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare insurance feeds.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Full time Pay Range

83,430.00 - $222,480.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
