Google Sunnyvale, CA seeks an experienced Software Engineering Manager II for Spanner Enterprise to lead a team delivering large-scale, highly available distributed database features.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team to build critical features and enhance their scalability, reliability, and availability. You will support and coach a group of engineers, lead projects with their impact across Google, and work on a broad range of technical areas.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Manage SWEs to work on large-scale feature development and integrate with other products in the wider Spanner ecosystem.

Collaborate closely with other Spanner teams and broader partner teams and work with manager and Spanner leadership to define future Spanner roadmaps.

• Manage a team, work with backend technologies, collaborate across multiple teams to achieve long-term goals, and continuously adapt to new tools.
