We are seeking a Software Engineer Manager to lead the engineering team for our core commerce experiences. In this role, you will manage and mentor a team of engineers expanding protocol capabilities and launching agentic shopping features across Google surfaces. You will provide leadership, drive technical direction, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across the consumer organization to deliver user experiences. The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer.
