Job summary

Scopely is seeking a Software Engineer, Machine Learning to build scalable ML infrastructure in San Francisco, CA. You will deploy and maintain AI/ML models, collaborate with ML scientists, and optimize deployment workflows.

You will implement monitoring, troubleshoot issues, participate in design reviews, and help shape architecture. Telecommuting within the US is allowed; explore opportunities and contribute to high‑quality software practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative field, plus One (1) year of experience in the Job offered, as a Software Developer, Software Engineer Intern, Applied Research Intern, Teaching Assistant, or a related occupation.
• Must possess academic training and/or experience in each of the following: Python; Machine Learning; Generative AI; SQL; System programming; Cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions for the deployment of AI and ML models.
• Work closely with ML scientists to develop engineering solutions to integrate AI and ML models into products.
• Develop automation tools and processes to streamline model evaluation and deployment workflows.
• Optimize infrastructure performance to ensure efficient resource utilization and minimize latency in model inference.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the reliability and availability of ML infrastructure components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ML infrastructure, working closely with stakeholders to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Regularly participate in meetings with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design engineering solutions that meet product requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture planning sessions to maintain high-quality standards in software development practices.

Machine Learning (ML) models. Work closely with ML scientists to develop engineering solutions to integrate
AI and ML models into products. Develop automation tools and processes to streamline model evaluation and
deployment workflows. Optimize infrastructure performance to ensure efficient resource utilization and
minimize latency in model inference. Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the

Salary: $165,131 to $180,946 per year

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA, the annual salary range is provided below. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
