Job summary

Scopely is seeking a Senior Director of Community to lead the community for a new AAA unannounced title with a popular IP, on a remote basis in the United States or Canada. You will build a global strategy for Community Management, Social Media, and Influencers, and assemble a team to execute across platforms.

You will guide the Community team, shape online presence, drive growth, retention and advocacy, and plan events that engage players.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in community management, social media management, & influencer management in the gaming industry.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret engagement metrics and drive decisions.
• Deep understanding of gaming platforms, streaming services, and social media channels for content creators.
• Experience managing game communities & influencers and developing engagement programs.
• Experience with games that use licensed IP and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop a global community, social, and influencer strategy aligned with the game’s brand and marketing goals.
• Build and lead a team to support Community Management, Social Media, and Influencers.
• Set strategy, develop tactics, and guide the Community team across platforms.
• Shape online presence, foster player connections, and drive growth and engagement.
• Plan community events and promotions to boost participation and excitement.
• Create content concepts to showcase gameplay and community stories.
• Engage with the community across platforms, responding to discussions and amplifying user content.
• Utilize analytics to track engagement, sentiment, and platform performance.
• Partner with IP holder to grow the community authentically and protect the brand.
