The Opportunity

• Work across the software development lifecycle, including deployment, automation, cloud infrastructure, and production support.
• Support cloud-native deployments and DevOps-related activities.
• Optimize and build software and comfortable deploying, automating, troubleshooting, and supporting it in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software tradc-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Qualifications

Required

• Experience in designing, building, testing and deploying changes to existing software.
• Experience in enhanced infrastructure security protocols.
• Knowledge in Identifying manual processes that can be automated.
• Experience in maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure.
• Automate code integration, testing, and deployment to deliver product features to production securely and efficiently.
• Provision and manage environments using automation tools instead of manual server configurations.
• Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively detect bottlenecks and resolve production issues.
• Manage containerized applications to ensure seamless scaling across platforms.
• This position requires a TS/SCI and a polygraph within the last 5 years.
