Job summary

Amazon Kids+ is seeking a Software Development Engineer to own and drive large-scale customer-facing features from inception to delivery. You will design, architect and build innovative consumer products used daily across Amazon devices and iOS/Android.

You will work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment focused on the Amazon Kids experience. You will own and drive large-scale customer-facing web applications from inception to delivery and beyond, solving challenges in web computing,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

Responsibilities

• Own and drive large-scale customer-facing web applications from inception to delivery and beyond.
• Solve technical challenges in web computing, back-end services, and algorithms.
• Work with leadership and product management stakeholders to design simple solutions.
