Job summary

Your mission

As a Principal Product Designer at Bitpanda, you ll play a critical role in shaping our long-term experience strategy, scaling design quality, and ensuring visual and interaction consistency across products. You ll lead by example - raising the bar for design craft, defining our future experience principles and owning the evolution of our design system. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of strategy, systems and craft. You ll guide cross-functional teams, influence decisions across product solutions and oversee the building blocks that power high-quality, scalable and accessible user experiences. Through hands-on leadership and forward-looking thinking, you ll ensure Bitpanda continues to deliver product experiences that are both cohesive and future-ready.

A Principal Designer with 10+ years of product design experience and deep expertise in design systems. A strategic systems thinker who can connect design quality, product needs and business impact. Strong in craft, with expertise in components, patterns, interaction design and documentation. A trusted partner to Design, Product and Engineering who can influence across teams.
