Job summary

NxtPe is seeking a backend Java engineer to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for production environments. You will build scalable microservices and integrate systems through well-documented REST APIs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust, efficient code, and you'll debug complex issues while optimizing performance. Experience with Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and cloud platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

About the role:

• You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services for production environments
• Your work will involve building scalable microservices architectures and integrating systems through well-documented APIs

What you'll work on:

• Developing backend services using Java and Spring Boot frameworks
• Building and consuming REST APIs to enable seamless communication between system components
• Writing SQL queries and designing database schemas for relational databases
• Implementing version control workflows using Git in team settings
• Creating algorithms and leveraging data structures to solve technical problems efficiently
