Job summary

Cambridge Automation in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy secure software for ISR, C5ISR, and aerospace programs across DoD environments.

You will build scalable microservices, integrate with sensors and mission platforms, and apply secure coding standards within Agile/DevSecOps workflows. This role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and ties to mission-critical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience (mid-to-senior level).
• Proficiency in Java, Python, C++, or C# and Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of Agile development and Git or similar version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure and scalable software solutions.
• Translate system requirements into functional designs and implementations.
• Build microservices, APIs, and distributed system architectures.
• Apply secure coding standards and software engineering best practices.
