Tower Research Capital is a leading quantitative trading firm focused on high-performance platform development and independent trading teams. We design and optimize low-latency systems, data pipelines, and AI-assisted automation to support algo trading globally.

As a student in CS or related fields, you will work on cutting-edge technology across Linux, C++, Go, Java, Python and more, while gaining exposure to financial markets and a collaborative, Monday-to-Friday work culture in NYC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD student in CS or related field.
• Majoring in computer science or related field.
• Deep knowledge of programming concepts and object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
• Interest in financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Optimizing systems by using network and systems programming, as well as other advanced techniques to minimize latency.
• Designing, building, and leveraging systems to collect, analyze, and visualize large amounts of data.
• Building data pipelines to capture reference and market data and developing systems that provide fast and easy access to them.
• Building trading systems for algo trading.
• Enhancing the efficiency of trading operations by developing (AI assisted) automation solutions and products.

Anticipated weekly base salary range $3,500-$4,200.
