Job summary

Pegasystems' Platform Security internship offers hands-on experience designing and delivering core security capabilities within the Pega Platform. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute to encryption, authentication, authorization, and vulnerability mitigation while collaborating with senior engineers in a large-scale enterprise environment.

You'll work in an Agile team, explore AI tools to drive security innovations, participate in testing and debugging, and gain exposure to cloud

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.

The Platform Security team is deeply involved in designing and delivering core security capabilities that power the Pega Platform architecture. Security is foundational to building robust, end-to-end enterprise applications, and this team leads the way in ensuring that foundation is strong. • Familiarity with security testing tools and techniques such as static analysis, dynamic analysis, or penetration testing methodologies.
• Foundational knowledge of web technologies, cloud platforms, APIs, and databases.
• Academic, project, or internship experience demonstrating an interest in software engineering and cybersecurity principles.
