Job summary

SingleStore, Inc. offers a 12-week Software Engineer Intern role to contribute to real-time database projects. You’ll work on one or more engineering teams, own features end-to-end, and participate in a fast-paced production environment with mentors guiding your growth.

Qualifications

• Core CS fundamentals with emphasis on operating systems, distributed systems, concurrency and server architectures.
• Experience with multithreading concepts is a plus.
• Demonstrated problem solving and collaboration skills.

As a Software Engineer, Intern, you'll have the opportunity to spend 12 weeks working on one (or more) of the engineering teams at SingleStore. As a Software Engineer, Intern, you will be empowered to own your projects end-to-end and be an active contributor throughout the product life cycle. Our engineers are not just technical partners/mentors, but are also business partners who are exposed to all areas of the business, working with teams such as product, marketing, and sales.

Role and Responsibilities

Our Software Engineers work on small, collaborative teams to help drive our company forward. Our interns are responsible for projects that are deployed continuously into production over the course of their internship. Your work will include everything from developing features to testing software and you’ll gain a significant understanding of both the product and the business.

• Understanding of core C.S. fundamentals, in particular operating systems, distributed systems, concurrency, multithreading, and server architectures
