Job summary

Zipline in South San Francisco is offering a Summer 2027 software internship for enthusiastic undergraduates and grads. You will take ownership of features across mobile and web apps, with code in React Native and backend services in Python and Go.

You must be in at least your second year of undergraduate studies; Masters and PhD students are welcome. This full-time, in-person internship includes a $50 per hour rate and potential relocation or housing support.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the second year of undergraduate studies.
• Masters and PhD students are also eligible.
• Passion for software development and curiosity to learn new technology stacks.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals.
• Product mindset and passion for crafting intuitive, delightful customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of critical features across Zipline's consumer mobile and web apps, from design through deployment and iteration
• Build features in the React Native mobile codebase or backend services in Python and Go
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build user-facing features that are fast, elegant, and grounded in a strong understanding of customer needs
• Influence our long-term technical roadmap and contribute to team-wide engineering best practices
