Job summary

Red Hat is seeking Software Engineering interns to join in Raleigh, NC, with additional locations in Boston and Lowell. You will work closely with a senior mentor to gain technical knowledge and contribute to projects across Global Engineering, including Python, Golang, and other modern technologies.

You’ll participate in a cohort-driven program with learning curricula on technologies like Ansible, RHEL, OpenShift, AI, and more, while collaborating with an international team.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Basic knowledge of Python or Golang.
• Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and examine how things work.
• Willingness to learn and proactively work as part of a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain code in Python, Golang or similar programming language with a senior mentor.
• Add new features, debug, identify, and track issues in Red Hat products (RHEL, OpenShift or other).
• Collaborate with the wider team and other departments throughout the product cycle.
• Network with other interns in a workplace where you can be yourself and thrive.
