Job summary

Cboe Global Markets is hiring a Software Engineer Intern for its Web team. You will work on real applications destined for production and collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop solutions for business problems, with an emphasis on Python, Django, and ReactJS.

You will join a Scrum team of interns and mentors, participate in all ceremonies, write tests, and deliver a production-ready final product.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and should not graduate before December of internship year.
• Interest in developing and deploying high-performance, data-driven websites.
• Experience with MVC web frameworks and modern web standards (HTML5/CSS3).
• Experience with JavaScript and Python or willingness to learn Python.

Responsibilities

• Join a Scrum team focused on a summer project with interns and mentors.
• Attend all Scrum ceremonies and participate in planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Implement a solution using Cboe web technologies (Python, Django, ReactJS).
• Collaborate on code reviews and best practices with mentors and other interns.
• Write comprehensive tests and deliver a production deployment of your project.
