Job summary

Figma is seeking software engineering interns to join cross-functional teams in San Francisco or New York. You'll be embedded with mentors to ship meaningful features, tools, or systems and gain hands-on experience across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers, PMs, designers, and QA, building tests, documenting work, and delivering your project by internship end.

Qualifications

• Experience writing clean code in at least one general-purpose language (e.g. C++, JavaScript, Python, Java) with a solid grasp of core CS concepts like data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Be embedded onto a Figma engineering team.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, designers, and QA to break down features and plan timelines.
• Build, document, and maintain tests, features, or infrastructure.
• Share feedback and participate in peer code review.
• Ship your project(s) by the end of your internship!
• Contribute to projects that align with team goals and impact.
