Responsibilities

Our Ads Measurement Signal and Privacy team (MSP) is missioned to build our security and governance infrastructure and process for the ads system end-to-end while making sure our platform with large volume of various signals and data are constantly compliant with regional regulations across the world. The team will be responsible for exploring and implementing cutting-edge privacy-enhancing technologies to protect our users while keeping TikTok a free and creative community. You will be a key player in data privacy, protection, security and managing cross-functional programs to continuously improve the process. You will also collaborate closely with different ad verticals to design and deliver end-to-end advertising solutions — from signal collection to measurement and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Build various products to handle signal integration, management and insights through both building in-house TT cutting edge solution and dealing with many third-party data partners integrations.
• Design, build and maintain scalable and future-proof tech foundations to manage data collection and data quality.
• Work with cross-functional teams (inc. product, data scientist, UX, compliance) to continuously improve comprehensive measurement.
• Lead and manage development of products and processes to respond to urgent business needs.
• Identify, explore and implement cutting-edge measurement technologies.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, proficient in at least one coding language, including but not limited to Go, Javascript, Java, C++.
• Excellent communication, teamwork skills and strong ownership.
• Curiosity towards new technologies and solutions, and outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working experience in ad domain.
• Experience building ad product solutions or ad delivery systems is preferred.
• Experience with big data processing is preferred.
• Experience with ads measurement or ads privacy technology is preferred

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $45- $60.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance. The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.
