Job summary

Ryan is seeking a Software Engineering Intern in Plano, TX. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on software development projects for the Unclaimed Property practice, gaining hands-on experience with .NET, C#, React, TypeScript, and Azure.

You will own small development tasks from start to finish, participate in code reviews, and grow through mentorship, training, and exposure to the full software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Data Science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related study.
• Anticipated graduation date within one year of internship
• Minimum Overall and Major GPA of 2.8
• Minimum of 6–12 Technical credit hours depending on practice

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced technology professionals on software engineering projects supporting Ryan's Unclaimed Property practice.
• Assist in developing, testing, and enhancing software applications and features using technologies such as .NET, C#, React, TypeScript, and Microsoft Azure, with potential exposure to Python.
• Take ownership of smaller development tasks from start to finish, with guidance and support from experienced engineers.
• Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and testing to improve application functionality and performance.
• Work closely with team members to understand project requirements, contribute ideas, and implement technical solutions.
• Gain hands-on experience throughout the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving to further develop technical skills and knowledge.

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with experienced technology professionals on software development projects supporting our Unclaimed Property practice. You'll gain hands-on experience working with technologies such as .NET, C#, React, TypeScript, and Microsoft Azure, with potential exposure to Python. You'll contribute to real-world projects while also having the opportunity to take ownership of smaller development tasks from start to finish, building your technical skills and gaining valuable experience throughout the software development lifecycle.
