What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of a real-time 3D simulator
- Develop and integrate novel deep learning algorithms to enhance the simulator's realism and capabilities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of system reliability and maturity in a production environment
- Drive research and prototyping of new ideas in neural rendering and simulation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ambiguous requirements into robust technical solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven track record of self-motivated, customer-oriented innovation, including patents or research papers
- History of owning the full product lifecycle from prototype to production
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++
- Experience with 3D graphics and rendering pipelines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Gaussian Splatting, Structure from Motion (SfM), and Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs)
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies like Kubernetes
- Background in scaling geospatial data pipelines
