Job summary

Sierra AI is building the next generation of AI agents with a focus on customer-facing products. The team seeks an experienced professional to design and ship data-informed features, from data exploration tools to production-grade monitoring, enabling scalable agent intelligence.

The role emphasizes autonomy, ownership, and delivering customer impact while aligning with Sierra's Craftsmanship and Customer Obsession values in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience building production products and systems.
• Experience with Go and TypeScript.
• Experience building developer tooling, programming languages, or databases.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and visualize data to improve agent performance across millions of data points.
• Enable A/B testing of agents to drive data-driven decisions.
• Build Explorer-like data exploration and clustering for conversational data.
• Develop monitoring systems to proactively detect defects or patterns.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Reporting & Experimentation: Build a system for analyzing and visualizing millions of data points about agent performance. Enable agent developers to run A/B test their agents to make data-driven decisions about agent behavior.
• Data Exploration: Build Explorer, the equivalent of ChatGPT + AI-powered clustering over conversational data.
• Monitoring: Build systems for proactively monitoring agents for defects or new patterns.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
