The Role

We're looking for Software Engineers who want to be an impactful part of a small team working tirelessly to fix the talent problem. Our Innovation Lab is a small group of exceptional Signalites who have created the foundations of our most groundbreaking products, including Cosmo,CodeSignal Learn, Certified Evaluations, and more.

• Autocomplete for the dozens of coding languages we support
• Live, collaborative editing for our IDE
• Persistent workspace sessions to power terminal support and more

Day-to-Day

• Closely collaborate with our executive team, including our founders, to understand our strategy, tactics, and the best next steps
• Drive technical design discussions on features and changes
• Research the latest technical innovations and develop proof-of-concept and prototypes that keep our platform on the cutting edge
• Contribute to building across the full stack from product features to microservices
• Develop clean and maintainable code, with an emphasis on quality and craftsmanship
• Conduct code reviews and collaborate with your peers

Basic Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional, full-time software engineering experience
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Drive and initiative for getting things done
• Available to work full-time.

Bonus Points for the Following

• Experience in product engineering, web or mobile
• Experience with any part of our stack:

The Salary

In accordance with local regulations in jurisdictions where CodeSignal may hire, we are projecting an annual total salary in the range ofUSD $120,000-$250,000. This range encompasses all seniority levels eligible for this position. Offer packages often contain additional compensation in the form of commission or performance bonuses, equity, and/or benefits such as those listed below. Offers are awarded on an individual basis and are subject to factors such as, without limitation, a candidate’s level of experience, growth trajectory, and local labor market. Employees' compensation is reviewed and adjusted regularly.
