Overview

We are looking for a software engineer to own our development ecosystem. You'll be responsible for making our engineering team outrageously productive by eliminating friction throughout the development lifecycle. You'll tackle devx issues across our diverse technical landscape — including our two monorepos, four backends (each written in a different language), and NextJS app that powers our customers’ docs. If you're passionate about developer productivity, enjoy diving into complex systems, and have a knack for simplifying complicated workflows, we want you on our team.

What you’ll do

• Your mission is to make your teammates outrageously productive.

• Make local development delightful by creating seamless setup processes, fast build systems, and well-configured tooling that lets our engineers (and open-source contributors) focus on writing code instead of fighting their environment

• Evolve our CI systems, making our CI checks exhaustive, fast, and flake-free

• Maintain and improve our infrastructure-as-code (CDK) for our AWS deployments and our CD pipelines

• Design and implement monitoring, observability, and alerting across our stack.

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of professional software development

• Significant experience with TypeScript

• A passion for building for other developers

• An ability to prioritize and own decisions across our development ecosystem. We have ideas of what you’ll work on, but ultimately you will decide what you do and how you do it.
