DAY TO DAY:

A fast growing financial services start up in Chicago is seeking an SDET/QA Automation Engineer to join it’s team. The company is building their own trade matching engine, and this person will test the company’s digital assets trading platform. This role collaborates with stakeholders in the digital asset space, and the SDET will contribute to building an entire marketplace from scratch. You will report to the Head of Engineering. More specifically you will write automated test suites via FIX order entry, create testing framework, review testing results, collaborate with your fellow engineers and coordinate testing/release of new features. You will also look for improvements to the existing API and participate in task breakdown, code reviews, bug fixes, and more. If you’re experience with Fixed Protocol, Cucumber, and Glue Code as well as hands on with Java/Python, then you’d be a great fit here.
