Qualifications

  • At least 7+ years experience in Software Engineering in highly regulated environments.
  • Proficient in C# and/or Java development, including Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Test Driven development tools (JUnit, Mockito).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to break down requirements and find efficient solutions.
  • Experience building RESTful web services-based applications.
  • Strong hands-on database knowledge with Oracle or SQL Server.
  • Experience in CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket and other build/deploy tools.
  • Good interpersonal communication for technical and business conversations.
  • Leadership to collaborate across geo-located teams.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement per acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, interfaces, and solution enablers while preserving architecture integrity.
  • Mentors other engineers and coaches CI/CD practices and automation tool stacks.
  • Performs story refinement, defines requirements, and estimates work for delivery lifecycle.
  • Conducts spike/proof of concept to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
  • Automates manual release activities.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).

Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non‑functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built‑in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI‑CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 7+ years experience in Software Engineering with experience working in highly regulated environments.
  • Proficient in C# and/or JAVA development, including Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
  • Has experience in Test Driven development tools Jnit, Mockito.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to break down requirements and find efficient solutions.
  • Experience building RESTful web services based applications.
  • Strong hands on Database working knowledge with common RDBMS such as Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Experience in CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, BitBucket and other build/deployment tools/process.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills for technical and business conversations.
  • Leadership qualities to collaborate in an environment with developers in multiple geographical location.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and able to work in a fast paced agile work space.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ruby/Rails, Kafka, event‑driven architectures, Docker, cloud migration and modernization experience, healthcare/payments/financial services domain knowledge.
