ARCHER is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions, including complex applications and algorithms. Analyze data to improve applications and system architecture, and validate outputs when using authorized AI-assisted development tools.

The role requires experience with Java, REST APIs, microservices, CI/CD, and modern front-end development, plus cloud experience.

Qualifications

Three+ years of applied software engineering experience.
Strong CS fundamentals required.
Experience with Java, REST APIs, microservices, CI/CD, and modern front-end development.
Cloud experience and hands-on use of authorized AI-assisted development tools with outputs validated for correctness, performance and security.

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality, scalable software solutions, including complex applications and algorithms. Analyze data to improve applications and system architecture, contribute to engineering practices, and use authorized AI development tools responsibly while validating their outputs.

Requirements

Requires at least three years of applied software engineering experience, strong computer science fundamentals, and practical experience with Java, REST APIs, microservices, CI/CD, and modern front-end development. Candidates should also have cloud experience and hands-on experience with authorized AI-assisted development tools, including the ability to validate outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
