Job summary

Google Sunnyvale seeks a Software Engineer III for Infrastructure within Google Distributed Cloud. You will contribute to large-scale, distributed systems and work across the stack from networking to compute resources, collaborating with a world-class team.

You will mentor juniors, participate in design reviews, and help advance Kubernetes networking features, CNI, and ebpf integrations while delivering robust, scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in one or more programming languages: C, C++, Go.
• 2 years of experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, compute/storage/hardware.
• Experience with SDN controllers, network virtualization, network function virtualization, and Kubernetes networking (CNI/ebpf).

Minimum qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Experience with development of low-level systems software, Linux Kernel, networking stack, Crypto APIs etc.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
