Job summary

Google is hiring software engineers to work on the Admin Access Platform (AAP) Dynamic Policy Engine and related core systems. You will help safeguard Google’s infrastructure, design intelligent access policies, and scale a high-impact platform across teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Security, Legal, and Product Areas to implement robust, scalable solutions. You will join a team responsible for the technical foundations that support Google's flagship products, including policy

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of programming experience in Java.
2 years of experience in coding and system design with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
2 years of experience with code optimization.

Responsibilities

Architect new novel access controls in lockstep with security teams to redefine Google's security posture.
Scale our policy engine to outpace explosive global growth and stay ahead of emerging threats.
Manage engineering analysis tooling that empowers decision-makers to visualize and master the impact of access policy shifts before they even hit production.
Partner with SREs to harden our platform, ensuring unparalleled reliability and health at Alphabet-scale.
Partner closely with teams that must interact with end users on our behalf to help them navigate access challenges.
