Qualifications

• Proficient with design methods/patterns (DRY, SOLID, REST) and practical application.
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
• Motivated to solve difficult problems and learn new technology.
• Expert in writing quality unit tests.
• Expert with build and debugging tools.
• Proficient with profiling tools.
• Experience with CI systems like Jenkins/GitHub.
• Experience with international software development (multi-lingual, multi-currency).
• Proficient in MacOS, Unix, and Linux.
• Experience with databases and distributed systems.
• Understanding of HTTP protocol.

Responsibilities

• Provides input to the definition of organizational coding standards.
• Produces estimates for assigned tasks and participates in larger initiative planning.
• Delivers performant, maintainable code with focus on stability.
• Promotes code reuse across teams and systems.
• Ensures code is well-tested and documented.
• Participates in designing components and their interactions.
• Assists PM in decomposing business requirements into tasks.
• Deep understanding of frameworks and libraries.
• Reviews PRs as a key reviewer for the team.
• Participates in new pattern implementations.
• Offers first-line support for production systems.
