Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior automation engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across testing, workflows, and business processes.

You will lead automation efforts across the full SDLC, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Applicants should have a BS in CS or related field and 5+ years in automation, with strong skills in C#, JavaScript, or Java and experience with CI/CD and APIs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in complex systems or large-scale architectures.
• Proficiency across the software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices.
• Strong development skills in one or more languages like C#, JavaScript, or Java.
• Experience building automation frameworks for UI, APIs, and processes.
• Solid understanding of web tech, APIs, scripting, CI/CD, DevOps, and version control.
• Experience solving complex technical issues and optimizing systems.
• Experience with automation for testing, workflows, or operations preferred.
• Familiarity with automation platforms or RPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strong development skills in one or more programming languages or frameworks, such as C#, JavaScript, or Java.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks for UI, API, and/or process automation.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, scripting tools, system integration patterns, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control.
• Experience with system optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Experience developing automation solutions for testing, workflows, or operational processes preferred.
• Familiarity with automation platforms, workflow orchestration tools, or RPA technologies is a plus.
