Job summary

Gravity IT Resources in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Angular Developer to lead the development of a next-generation Angular application. You will translate complex business requirements into an intuitive, brand-compliant UI while serving as the technical bridge between design, product, and backend teams.

You will architect greenfield features, ensure pixel-perfect styling, collaborate with UX/UI designers, and integrate with backend APIs (including AWS Lambda).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Angular development experience with components, services, RxJS, routing, and state management.
• Strong TypeScript skills with advanced patterns and ES standards.
• Advanced CSS/SCSS skills including layout systems (Flexbox, Grid), responsive design, performance optimization, and CSS architecture patterns (BEM, SMACSS).
• Greenfield development: architecting and building applications from scratch, establishing folder structures, build configurations, and workflows.
• Business acumen: translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• API integration: experience integrating frontend apps with backend REST APIs and asynchronous data handling.
• Testing & QA: Jasmine, Karma, or similar; write testable, maintainable code.
• Communication: bridging design, product, and engineering perspectives

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Angular Developer to lead the development of our next-generation Angular application. This role is critical for translating complex business requirements into an intuitive, brand-compliant user interface while serving as the technical bridge between design, product, and backend teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Angular Application Development: Architect and develop a greenfield Angular application from the ground up, establishing best practices, component libraries, and scalable patterns
• Complex Business Logic Implementation: Translate intricate business rules and requirements into robust frontend logic, ensuring data consistency and proper state management across the application
• Design Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect designs while maintaining code quality, performance, and accessibility standards
• Brand & Compliance Standards: Ensure all UI implementations adhere to brand guidelines, design systems, and compliance requirements throughout the application lifecycle
• Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate with backend developers (AWS PHP Lambda), business stakeholders, and product teams to ensure seamless front-to-back feature delivery
• Styling & CSS Architecture: Implement scalable, maintainable CSS/SCSS solutions with a deep understanding of responsive design, CSS architecture patterns, and performance optimization
• Code Quality & Documentation: Establish and maintain high code quality standards, write comprehensive documentation, and mentor team members on best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• Angular Expertise: 5+ years of professional Angular development experience with deep knowledge of components, services, RxJS, routing, and state management
• TypeScript Proficiency: Strong command of TypeScript including advanced patterns, type systems, and modern ES standards
• CSS Mastery: Advanced CSS/SCSS skills including layout systems (Flexbox, Grid), responsive design, performance optimization, and CSS architecture patterns (BEM, SMACSS, or similar)
• Greenfield Development: Proven experience architecting and building applications from scratch, establishing folder structures, build configurations, and development workflows
• Business Acumen: Ability to understand complex business requirements, ask clarifying questions, and translate them into technical solutions
• API Integration: Strong experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs, understanding REST principles and asynchronous data handling
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Proficiency with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, or similar) and commitment to writing testable, maintainable code
• Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to bridge design, product, and engineering perspectives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services and serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
• Knowledge of PHP backend systems and how they integrate with frontend applications
• Familiarity with design systems and component library development
• Experience with state management solutions (NgRx, Akita, or similar)
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles
• Prior experience with brand compliance and design systems enforcement
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, bundling, change detection optimization)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment strategies

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to design tools (Figma, Adobe XD) for closer collaboration with designers
• Understanding of UX principles and user-centered design thinking
• Familiarity with animation libraries and interactive UI patterns
