Job summary

US Tech Solutions in Mountain View, CA is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer for a 6-month contract to design and build scalable systems ensuring compliance of user activity data, especially log data. You will collaborate with policy owners, feature developers, and data consumers to enable secure, standardized data governance.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in backend/server-side development using C++, Java, Kotlin, and experience with large-scale data systems.

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience (Level 2).
• Production-grade systems experience in an industry setting.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong programming experience in C++, Java, Kotlin
• Proven experience in backend/server-side development
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data systems or distributed systems
• Solid understanding of data processing infrastructure and pipelines
• Ability to design and build scalable and reliable systems

Experience

• 7–10 years of professional software development experience for Level 3
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience for Level 2
• Demonstrated experience working on production-grade systems in an industry setting
