Eliassen Group is seeking a senior software engineer to provide production support, maintenance, and enhancements for a critical security platform in Charlotte, NC. Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting enterprise applications in production.
• 3+ years supporting AWS cloud-native and serverless solutions.
• Proficient with Angular and TypeScript in production environments.
• AWS Lambda experience using Python and/or .NET.
• Strong REST API and integration troubleshooting skills.
• Kafka expertise and working with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with GitHub/GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS AI/ML integrations (Bedrock, Textract, Rekognition) is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring and incident response tools (CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Splunk).
• Reporting experience (Power BI/SSRS) and audit/compliance readiness.
• Excellent analytical troubleshooting and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Our client seeks a senior software engineer to provide application support, maintenance, enhancement, and operational oversight for a business-critical physical security and access management platform. The role requires hands-on production support across the full stack, including Angular and TypeScript, AWS Lambda services, REST APIs, Kafka, and SQL databases, with responsibility for monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, compliance reporting, and vendor and stakeholder collaboration.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $130,000.00 to $150,000.00/yr. w2

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for a cloud-based access management platform.


• Troubleshoot application, integration, and data issues across UI, APIs, messaging, and databases.


• Support AWS Lambda-based services and release and deployment workflows.


• Monitor application health, investigate incidents, and drive root cause analysis.


• Partner with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal platform and security teams.


• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years supporting enterprise applications in production.


• 3+ years supporting AWS cloud-native and serverless solutions.


• Angular and TypeScript for production support and troubleshooting.


• AWS Lambda using Python and/or .NET.


• REST API and integration troubleshooting.


• Kafka.


• SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
