We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Financial Systems team to help implement and expand upon our current product offerings to our residents, as well as our Accounting, Operations, and Leasing teams. The ideal candidate has proficient knowledge to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL Server and API-based solutions on the Yardi platform.

You will be on the forefront of working on customer and employee-facing applications as we build the next wave of technologies that will drive our resident experience to the next level. Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

1. Develop and deploy custom SQL solutions and reports on the Yardi platform, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
2. Perform administrative activities to manage and maintain out-of-the-box solutions on the Yardi platform.
3. Assist and guide application development using the Yardi SOAP APIs.
4. Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and applications.
5. Identify and resolve defects of advanced scope using proper engineering tools and techniques.
6. Exhibit advanced technical problem solving and debugging skills.
7. Promote and advocate best practices, design standards, and procedures.
8. Collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve objectives.
9. Write, test, review, deploy, and document code.
10. Support and maintain existing products and add new features as requested.
11. Adapt to changing business environments and requirements.
12. Communicate with Stakeholders, Product Owners, QA, and other teams in an agile environment.
13. Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and learn from experienced developers.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education And/or Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience or successful completion of a development boot camp.
• At least three (3) years of work experience in software development.

Preferred Qualifications And Requirements

• Proficient with Yardi property management software.
• Proficient in SQL and relational database concepts on SQL Server.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Yardi SOAP APIs, CI/CD, financial and accounting concepts, API development (SOAP/REST), and web API design.
• Strong communication skills and ability to contribute meaningfully in discussions.

Salary Range

$73,440.00 - $127,296.00, plus potential annual discretionary bonus. Compensation varies based on skills, experience, location, and laws.
