Job summary

Twitch’s Enterprise Platform & Technology group seeks a Software Development Engineer II to bridge SAP ERP with cloud-native AWS services and agentic AI. You will develop ABAP and CDS-based logic, design SAP APIs, and build AWS pipelines with Bedrock/Claude-driven workflows.

This is a hands-on, full-stack role spanning SAP and cloud engineering to automate Finance operations. You will work on integrations, data pipelines, and production systems while collaborating with Finance, Accounting, and

Qualifications

• 4+ years SAP development experience (ABAP, HANA SQL, CDS, BTP) or SAP integration tech.
• Experience building File-Based and API-based integrations (REST, OData, SOAP).
• S/4HANA CDS views with associations and AMDP data movement in ABAP.
• 3+ years AWS experience with Lambda, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB, IAM, API Gateway.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript or Java with shipping production code.
• IaC experience with CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, Bedrock) integrated in workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain SAP integrations with AWS and downstream systems.
• Develop SAP APIs (OData, REST, SOAP) and ABAP logic for ERP scenarios.
• Build AWS-hosted services to extend SAP capabilities and automate Finance ops.
• Manage CDK/Terraform-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Finance/Tax to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Provide end-to-end ownership for production systems, monitoring and incident response.
• Mentor and improve engineering practices through code reviews and docs.
