Job summary

SECU is seeking an Software Engineer II - Salesforce to support configuration, customization, and maintenance of our Salesforce platform. The role focuses on Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and integrations while collaborating with admins, analysts, and stakeholders across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

You will assist with configuration, build flows and automation, support Apex development, and help maintain existing automations.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
  • Foundational Salesforce configuration and declarative tooling.
  • Exposure to Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Familiarity with Flow and automation.
  • Basic understanding of Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
  • Willingness to learn APIs, integrations, and deployment processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with a team and take direction from seniors.

Job description

Position Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer II - Salesforce to support the configuration, customization, and maintenance of our Salesforce platform. This role is ideal for someone with foundational Salesforce knowledge who is eager to grow their development skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and integrations.

This role will work closely with senior developers, admins, business analysts, and stakeholders to help deliver Salesforce enhancements across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.

  • Assist with Salesforce configuration and customization.
  • Build and update Salesforce Flows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, and custom fields.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Administrator certification.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or working toward it.
  • Experience with Git, VS Code, Salesforce CLI, or change sets.
  • Exposure to REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience working in a sandbox environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum teams.
