Sezzle is seeking a Software Engineer II to join a fast-paced, full-stack engineering team in the United States. You will design, develop, and deliver scalable features, collaborating with multiple teams to drive product impact.

You will work with Go on the backend and React on the frontend, leveraging AI tools like Claude to boost productivity and research, while mentoring peers and participating in architecture discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience as a Software Engineer with mid-level responsibilities.
• Familiarity with Claude or equivalent AI tools.
• Frontend with React; backend with Go preferred.
• Relational databases experience with MySQL (and/or PostgreSQL).

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain new product features for the Sezzle platform.
• Collaborate with product owners to design features and improvements.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions with engineers.
• Hands-on coding and code reviews across the stack.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to planning and estimates.
• Plan, scope, and deliver projects with stakeholders.
