Job summary
InvestedintheMission seeks a Software Engineer Level 2 to join a small, dynamic development team in Maryland. You will develop, maintain, and optimize user interfaces using ReactJS, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS3 within an Agile environment.
You will translate wireframes into functional UIs, collaborate with mission customers and leadership, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software. You will work on scalable frontend code, ensure accessibility, and stay current with industry
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 4 years extra SWE experience may substitute for degree.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize web UIs using Node, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Translate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into functional, responsive frontend code.
- Collaborate with mission customers and government leadership to gather requirements and propose enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
- Test UI across approved browsers to ensure a seamless user experience and debug UI issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in UI development.
