About the Role

The Software Engineer II is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support business needs. This role involves collaboration within a team, problem-solving, and proficiency in software development practices. You will contribute to projects of moderate complexity, resolve technical issues, and ensure high-quality solutions that meet user requirements.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop, test, and maintain software components and applications according to requirements.
  2. Collaborate with team members to analyze user needs and determine technical solutions.
  3. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
  5. Write and maintain technical documentation.
  6. Continuously learn and apply best practices in software development, quality, and security.
  7. Contribute to the design of new features and improvements.
  8. Complete short-term assignments following defined processes.
  9. Suggest process improvements to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to new technologies.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience with medium-scale Unix/Linux systems such as AIX or Red Hat.
