Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software Engineer II for its Applied Signal Technology (AST) team in Salt Lake City, UT. This onsite role focuses on design, development and testing of software for SIGINT solutions that strengthen national security.

You will collaborate with engineers, follow CM practices, and contribute to high-performance, secure systems. Qualifications include a Master’s in STEM and strong C++ in Linux experience; TS/SCI with Poly is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM major.
• Experience developing in C++ in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of software to include development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems
• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions
• Participate in internal review of software components and systems
• Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering
• Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products
