Responsibilities

• Develop new features and improve existing functionality for LogScale Search
• Build and scale Federated Search in LogScale to combine LogScale data with customer-owned data stores such as AWS Athena
• Deliver scalable, reliable, and high-availability log storage and search capabilities
• Own or participate in scoping, designing, and developing cross-team platform-level initiatives
• Develop Golang microservices integrating with the LogScale backend
• Extend the product to handle increasing ingest and query loads while maintaining high availability
• Collaborate across teams through code reviews, pairing, documentation, design reviews, and technical guidance
• Monitor and follow up on released features in production

Job description

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development

• Fluency in both functional and object-oriented programming
• Ability to learn new programming languages on the go

• Demonstrated operational excellence with complex distributed services
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to individual contributors and management
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes
• Experience balancing short-term delivery needs against long-term product goals
• Must periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint checks consistent with government customer requirements
