Advanced Acoustic Concepts, LLC (AAC), a Thales Defense & Security Inc. subsidiary, seeks Software Engineer II/III for its Great River, NY site and other locations.

The role involves designing, developing, modifying software systems using analysis and models to predict outcomes, with opportunities in real-time, firmware, databases, and OS interfacing. Onsite full-time positions are available across several locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field; minimum 2 years experience.
Fluency in technologies and application domain.
Ability to lead a technical group independently.
Proficiency with C++, Python programming.
Linux knowledge and experience.
Systems networking and interface design experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems.
May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments.
Report progress and status regularly.
Review customer specifications and requirements and develop designs to best support them.
