Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a Software Engineer II for LoopNet brand in Irvine, CA. You will contribute to multiple software products reaching millions of users and help shape LoopNet’s web applications.

You’ll work with .NET and frontend technologies, leverage AWS services, and apply AI coding tools in a collaborative Agile environment. This role is onsite in Irvine with a hybrid work option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 4+ years of production C# .NET development experience.
• Frontend experience with Vue/React/Angular in TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS services (S3/SQS/Dynamo/ElastiCache).
• Ability to leverage AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot).
• Proven track record building and launching products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software using OO principles and design patterns.
• Write unit-testable software in C#/.NET.
• Understand product architecture and contribute to platform.
• Develop SQL scripts/ETL to meet database standards.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum teams and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with other .NET and DB developers to share ideas.
