About the role

StubHub is looking for Software Engineer IIs to design and develop next-generation technologies and complex features. As a Software Engineer at StubHub, you will be at the forefront of tackling significant, ambiguous, and non-trivial challenges as a core contributor and innovator, bringing creative technical solutions to life. In order to ensure our company's success, our Software Engineers must demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm for the problems they tackle.

Location and team

This is a hybrid work opportunity located in New York, NY. We have a 3-day in-office and 2-day remote schedule.

About the team:

Fin-Tech Subledger Team: Engineers in the team are responsible for developing and refining an end-to-end finance platform. The Subledger sub-domain helps develop and maintain a highly reliable and scalable system fulfilling the company’s accounting and financial requirements, including streamlining records, generating financial reports, gaining insights, and supporting critical business decisions.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across StubHub's platforms and products
2. Demonstrate consistent agility resulting in high-quality outcomes
3. Manage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, setting an example for technical excellence
4. Participate in fostering an inclusive, results-oriented, innovative, and creative team culture
5. Launch features that impact the velocity of innovation and business growth

Qualifications

1. 3-5 years or equivalent experience in software development
2. Experience designing solutions to complex, impactful problems
3. Ability to learn new coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools
4. Understanding of full software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing, and operations

The gross base pay range for this role is $175,000 - $230,000 USD. Actual compensation depends on experience and qualifications. It is part of a total package including equity, benefits, and more.
