Google LLC is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions across multiple projects. You will work on systems that handle large-scale information retrieval, AI components, and distributed services, collaborating with teams across Google to push technology forward.

• Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript) in an industry setting.
• Experience working with one or more of the following: Web or Mobile Application Development, Unix/Linux environments, Distributed and Parallel Systems, Machine Learning or AI, Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing, Networking, Developing Software Systems, or Security Software Development.
• Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to streamline business or development workflows.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and tools, Basics of Machine Learning, Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), Recommendations/Ranking/Predictions, Natural Language Processing, Speech Audio, Machine Learning Infrastructure, Reinforcement Learning, and Computer Vision.
• Experience developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.

US: $123000 - $174000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
