Google LLC in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Software Engineer II, Early Career to contribute to web and AI-enabled systems. You will design, test, deploy and maintain software across distributed services, collaborating with teams across product and infrastructure.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, experience in web or mobile development, Unix/Linux, distributed systems, ML/AI, NLP, and security.

In accordance with Washington state law, we are highlighting our comprehensive benefits package, which is available to all eligible US based employees. Benefits for this role include:

• Paid Time Off: 20 days of vacation per year, accruing at a rate of 6.15 hours per pay period for the first five years of employment

• Maternity Leave (Short-Term Disability + Baby Bonding): 28-30 weeks
• Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with machine learning algorithms and tools, Basics of Machine Learning, Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), Recommendations/Ranking/Predictions, Natural Language Processing, Speech Audio, Machine Learning Infrastructure, Reinforcement Learning, and Computer Vision.
• Experience developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
